[li]Humans - Humans. For this RP are usually of Norse origin. Characters from other cultures can exist, but rarely. Traders and travelers do come through now and again, but the village is small, and has very little in the way of trade to offer. There are many occupations to chose from when playing this race. Some of these jobs include Armorer, Apothecary, Artist, Astrologer, Baker, Barber, Blacksmith, Bowyer (maker of bows and crossbows), Candlemaker, Carpenter, Cordwainer (Shoemaker), Fisherman, Fletcher (Arrow Maker), Gatherer, Grave Digger, Herbalist, Huntsman, Messenger, Minstrel (entertainer at a tavern.), Physician, Potter (creating pots and dishware), Scribe (Writer), Tavern Keep, Watchman or Guard (Village boundary protectors), Werewolf Hunter (Odin's Just), Warrior (Village protectors), and may more. Pretty much anything you could think of that would be right at home within a small medieval village. [/li]

[li]Werewolves (Fenrir's Blessed) - Given the blessing of the wolf god, Fenrir. The father of wolves and god of the hunt. They have the ability to transform at will into the form of a massive wolf beast. These few creatures are able to sustain their beastial form for as long as they wish, and usually prefer this form over their weaker, human state. They are fully capable of controlling themselves whilst in wolf form, but just because they can, doesn't always mean that they will. Evil people will still be evil, just as kind people will still be kind. This makes dealing with them very dangerous, and usually means that they are disliked by humans. Some humans (Odin's Just) even take it upon themselves to hunt these creatures down and kill them, as they are considered unholy, as the worshiping of Fenrir is not something that is considered to be a good thing.
These particular werewolves can live an exceptionally long time, as they do not age from the day they were given the gift. They can live for as long as they are able, as none of them have ever died of natural causes. They are very durable, and heal very quickly. The only known way of swiftly killing one of Fenrir's Blessed is to remove their head from their body and burn it, although severe enough injuries have been known to take them if they don't have time to heal before bloodloss overtakes them. Silver is also a factor, and could weaken them greatly if used in a projectile form that could be shot deep under the skin, but it won't kill them right away.[/li]
This form of werewolf requires a ritual to be preformed in order to obtain Fenrir's Blessing. They cannot be born as blessed, even if their parents were both blessed. More information about this can be found here -- silver-legacy.proboards.com/thread/7/plot-information

[li]Werewolves (The Cursed) - Those who have been cursed by a blessed. These individuals have usually done something to anger a blessed, and have been bitten, and marked with Fenrir's curse mark. A rune scar that has been carved into their flesh by the blessed who's bitten them. Without this mark, they would continue to be regular humans. Most blessed would not give this mark, as it is considered evil, even to Fenrir's followers. The cursed are forced into transformation upon the night of the full moon, and cannot control themselves when in beast form. They are often smaller and weaker than the blessed, but they are also far more savage, drawn to kill indiscriminately by their curse.
The cursed aren't known to live very long, since they are uncontrollable, and usually end up dead in a village somewhere. Silver is the best way to kill them, but they can also be killed by having their heads removed. No need to burn the body. Serious injury can also kill them, but they are quite durable, and their rage gives them the ability to keep on moving, even when they should be dead, but only during the times of transformation.[/li]
