Out Of Character Rules

Warning: This site may contain mature content.

• Do not ask to be staff, or to have staff powers, If I want you to be a staff member, then I will come to you.
• Respect your fellow RPers, and most of all your admins!
• You can dislike whom you wish, but don't OOC fight on the boards! If you must fight, do it somewhere else!
• Please join with the name of your character. It makes things easier.

Signatures and Images

• Please keep signatures to a size where it won't stretch the boards. [650px wide by 100px tall or smaller is preferred] If an admin tells you to re-size it, then please do, if you can't the admin will re-size it for you.
• Posting tables may be used, but they may NOT stretch the boards. Please keep them to 650 pixels wide or smaller. Thanks.
• You may draw your own character images, or use drawn images found on the web, but if they have copyrights on them, please leave them on! I do prefer if you'd use photo-manipulations though, as they are usually much more realistic, and customized to your character's specifics.
• Maximum avatar size is 150x200 pixels.
  
  Your 'hover image' is 200x400 pixels. No larger, no smaller.
  
  These can be uploaded on any free image hosting website such as Photobucket or Tinypic, as Proboards will only host icon images up to 150x150.

Characters

• You may have only TWO characters for now.
  More characters may be allowed once we have more members.
• Character Names : Please try to use old Norse names. Names from elsewhere may apply if the character has traveled a very, very long distance to end up here.
• Don't make your character a 'perfect' character who have no faults and are just like every other Marry Sue and Garry Stu's out there. We love faults.
• You can't fall in love at first sight. True relationships take time to build, but flings can happen, as can trickery and deception.

Posting

• Do nOT TyPe LYkE DiS wID DA MiSSpellings AnD dA StIcKy CaPs. iT iS AnnOYiNg To TRy tO ReAD. there is usually not a problem with that but if that's how you usually do it then don't do it!
  
  Please use spell check so that your posts are easier to read.
• All in character posts should be at least two paragraphs long. That isn't asking a lot of you really. Codeword: Cross
• We do ask that you stay active, and post at least three times a week, if not more.
• No shortenings (things like u r 2 or kewl) In IC, in OOC its fine.
• Cursing is allowed, just be reasonable with it.
• Graphic scenes are allowed. Sexual content and fighting, just try to do them in the proper places. Please don't go overboard with 'adult' scenes. Adult scenes are to be posted ONLY in the "The Red Banner" board. Note that all threads in this board will be wiped out monthly. Graphic fighting can be done anywhere. Blood and gore is fine.
• You cannot kill someone else's character without permission from that person-. However, if you break any of the rules with your character, I [the admin] can kill off your character and ban you from the forum if the situation calls for it.
• The admin will accept you after you post your bio. Do not post elsewhere until you've been accepted.
• DO NOT - DO NOT - DO NOT post unfinished bios! I cannot stress that enough. Most people forget to finish them once they are posted. Do not post bios unfinished. Save them and work on them in microsoft note pad or word pad if you have to. (I'm not sure what mac has to offer for this.) Heck, you could even save them in your own plot thread to finish them, just please do not post them in the bios thread until they're finished. Thanks.
• No Godmoding/Power playing.
  This means no saying Tom bit Zack.
  
  If you do fight, you will get hurt, you will probably bleed, and you might die. Werewolves are stronger than regular humans, but they can still be mortally wounded. They're not invincible.

• You have 10 days to post a bio after joining. If you do not, I will mark the account as being inactive, and it will be deleted.
• No one-liners! Every post on this site should be at least two paragraphs long, that isn't asking a lot of you, really.
• Please respond to activity checks when they are posted. Otherwise your account may end up being deleted.
• Spell Check. USE IT. We do have it.
